New to slots or just need a refresher? Here's a quick glossary of the terms you'll come across on scatter meter.
The theoretical percentage of total wagers a slot returns to players over a long period. A slot with 96% RTP returns ₱96 for every ₱100 wagered on average — over millions of spins. It does not guarantee returns in any single session.
How often and how much a slot pays out. Low volatility means more frequent smaller wins; high volatility means less frequent but larger potential payouts. Neither is better — it depends on how you prefer to play.
The lines across the reels on which matching symbols must land to count as a win. Classic slots may have 1–5 paylines; modern video slots can have 20, 50, or even hundreds of ways to win.
A special symbol that can substitute for most other symbols to help complete winning combinations. Some wilds expand to cover an entire reel; others stick in place for multiple spins.
A symbol that pays regardless of its position on the reels and often triggers free spin rounds or bonus features when three or more appear on a single spin.
Bonus rounds awarded by scatter symbols or in-game mechanics. During free spins, you play a set number of rounds without using your balance — any wins during this period are added to your total.
